Nicole successfully defends her PhD thesis!

Although Nicole missed out on presenting in front of an amphitheater full of people due to COVID restrictions, defending via zoom gave people all over the country the opportunity to tune in to her talk. Nicole’s work focused on the origins & functional effects of postzygotic mutations throughout the human lifespan. Congratulations Dr. Rockweiler!

NIH selects OHSU to coordinate national neuroscience research involving marmosets

Oregon Health & Science University has been selected along with two other institutions to coordinate neuroscience research across the country involving marmosets, a nonhuman primate that’s ideally suited as a model for human neurological disorders and new treatments.
